2016 Northwest Bass Championship

Here are a few items to note regarding the Championship on the 17 & 18th of September, 2016 at Columbia Point in Richland:
- Off limits begins Sunday, September 11 at midnight and ends at midnight on Thursday, September 15.
- Practice day starts Friday morning at 12:01 am and ends at 5:00 pm on Friday.
- Please come check in any time between 4:00 and 6:00 pm to pick up your boat number and enter the options if you haven’t already done so on-line or by check in the mail.
- We will start serving food at 5:00.
- The drivers meeting will be held at 6:00 Friday evening. Lock times and other tournament details such as blast off and weigh-in times will be announced at the drivers meeting.
The mighty Columbia River stretches 1243 miles from the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia to it’s mouth where it meets the Pacific Ocean. The Tri-Cities pool, known as Lake Wallula, is contained by two of the 14 dams located on the Columbia, Priest Rapids on the upper end and McNary Dam on the lower end.
Known as one of the finest Smallmouth fisheries in the United States, Lake Wallula is dominated by rocky structure, weed lines, and road beds that hold big fish – with typically good five-bass stringers averaging 4 lbs per fish.
